Colonel Konstantinos Kourlios Municipal Park
Kourlios Konstantinos of Nikolaou was born in 1937 in Mitrousi Serron. In 1995 he graduated from Serres High School and went through the School of Non-Commissioned Officers and then trained as an Engineer. He married Maria and they had two children. In 1973 he arrived in Nicosia, Cyprus and assumed duties in the Command Company. He was the leader of the machine gunners. He fell for faith and country on August 16, 1974, in Cyprus at the age of 37. After 45, years, his remains were repatriated to his birthplace, Mitrousi Serron, and Engineer Colonel K. Kourlios passed into the pantheon of Heroes.
